I did it, I made it do Designer MBA Camp and it was AWESOME!
I flew back a week ago and I think I'm just now recovered, mentally and physically.
The amount of information covered in 2 1/2 days was mind boggling. Best business practices for Interior Designers by Tobi Fairley. She has lived it and learned from her mistakes. Now it's one of her missions to help other designers be successful too.
A group of 26 amazing women, so inspirational and very motivating!
Each one of them were so kind. All eager to learn and ready to take their design business
to the next level.
The most delicious breakfast and lunch served daily at the camp with beautiful, colorful fresh flowers on the table.
Many women just finished Interior Design School and wanted to start off on the right foot. I'm so happy for them, doing it the right way from the beginning.
Everyone listened so intently including Tobi herself.
(The joke around the house is that I'm on a first name basis with Tobi now, ha!)
Tobi shared a little secret about herself with us, I'm not sharing the details but I will tell you that she sang & danced for us. Not once, but twice! It's so wonderful to get to know those that inspire us.
Knowing that we are all human and we may not all have the exact same goals but the end results are the same, this makes me feel good.
To health, happiness & prosperity.
I would not trade this experience for the word!!!
None of this would be possible without Tobi Fairley, Benjamin Moore, Olioboard, Leslie Carothers and my husband.
I am so excited for what's to come this year.
My word for 2013 is...
Part of my Change in 2013 is making my life easier.
I have my easy button out to punch each time I make something in my life easier.
(Is my family happy about this!)
On that note, this will be my last blog post for a few weeks while I work on Changing a few things with my business. I can't wait to share them with you!
