Love This: Roman Shades

Amanda Nisbet Design is a pro with roman shades.  I love the simplicity of her designs, her shades make a statement and are so much a part of the overall design.  Not an after thought or made to coordinate with the room after it is complete, window treatments are such an important part of the design.

Not much pattern in the room, place it on the shade.  My favorite is adding an eye-catching band of contrasting fabric around the shade.

  

  

  

  

  

 

Butterfly shades have the a sleek smoothness of a flat Roman shade, with draped softness at the lower edge. 

Tobi Fairley does a really nice job with her designs and incorporating roman shades.

 

  

  

  

  

 

A great economical window treatment that controls light and provides privacy.   

 

A nice change from the same old blinds on every window... why not a roman shade instead?
