Snobs Top Ten: 2010 Paint Colors

My most recent newsletter I talk about a fresh perspective for 2010. After we take down the Holiday Decorations the house seems so bare. One of the easiest and most economical ways to update the home is painting.

If you're afraid of choosing a color cause you may not like it after you have painted, buy a paint sample. So many paint companies offer samples now. Try a few samples on a wall before covering the entire space.

Here are my Top 10 Colors for 2010:

1. Pink Buff 1285 - Benjamin Moore
2. Shelburne Buff HC-28 - Benjamin Moore
3. Hasbrouck Brown HC-71 - Benjamin Moore
4. Winding Vines 532 - Benjamin Moore
5. Geranium 1307 - Benjamin Moore
6. Tupelo Tree SW 6417 - Sherwin Williams
7. Sawdust SW 6158 - Sherwin Williams
8. Interesting Aqua SW 6220-Sherwin Williams
9. Lounge Green SW 6444 - Sherwin Williams
10. Hardware SW 6172 - Sherwin Williams

Think about painting one accent wall or the back of a bookcase. A beat up occasional table in a pop of color is a fun mix with your other wood tables.

Happy New Year and Happy Painting.
